2. Third-party values
Each row of watergrade-ni-water-hardness-2023-2025.csv carries its own source_licence column.
The measurement values in that file are Northern Ireland Water data published on OpenDataNI under the
Open Government Licence v3.0: https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/doc/open-government-licence/version/3/
Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Source: Northern Ireland Water, water hardness by water supply zone, published on OpenDataNI.
The CC BY 4.0 licence above does not replace the OGL for those values. Keep both attributions.

The source register contains no third-party measurement values. It names organisations and links to their
public pages; the linked content stays under its owners' terms, which may not permit reuse.

3. What this dataset is not
Hardness is not a safety grade. Supply-zone annual summaries are not tests at any individual address and do
not describe current incidents. The dataset contains no postcodes and no postcode-to-zone lookup. Missing
parameters are not zero. Values are as extracted by WaterGrade from the source tables; check the original
document before relying on a figure.
